Privacy Policy
Last updated October 19, 2026. This describes what the Johns Creek FBLA website does with information about the people who visit it.
The short version
We do not collect anything about you. There is no account to make, no analytics, and no advertising. This site sets no cookies of its own on any page. Two pages embed something from Google, and on those two Google sets cookies of its own: the detail is below, with the page names and the cookie names.
Who runs this site
Johns Creek FBLA, the student chapter at Johns Creek High School in Johns Creek, Georgia. Chapter officers maintain it. It is a student-run site, not an official publication of Fulton County Schools or of FBLA. Questions go to jchsfbla@gmail.com.
What we collect
Nothing. Every page here is a static file. There is no login, no database, no analytics or advertising script, and no cookie set by this site. We have no way to tell who visited, what they read, or how often.
What our host records
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub's documentation states: “When a GitHub Pages site is visited, the visitor's IP address is logged and stored for security purposes, regardless of whether the visitor has signed into GitHub or not.” Those logs belong to GitHub. We never see them and cannot request them.
Content loaded from other companies
Some of what you see on a page is fetched from somebody else's server.
- Google Fonts, on every page, for the typeface.
- Google Forms, embedded on our membership and sign-up pages.
- Microsoft Forms, embedded on several conference pages.
- Google Calendar, embedded on the calendar page.
Whenever your browser loads something from another company's server, that request tells that server your IP address and basic details about your browser. That is how the web works, and it happens whether or not you interact with what loaded. What those companies do with it is covered by their policies rather than this one: Google and Microsoft.
The meeting slide PDFs are the exception. Those are served from this site, so opening one involves nobody else.
Cookies
Checked by loading each page in a browser with an empty cookie jar.
This site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage anywhere. Most pages finish loading with none at all.
Two pages are different, because of what they embed:
- The membership form page embeds a Google Form, and
loading it leaves three Google cookies in your browser, named
SandCOMPASSon docs.google.com, andNIDon google.com. - The calendar page embeds Google Calendar and leaves
one,
NID.
Those are Google's cookies, not ours. We did not ask for them, we cannot read them, and they arrive whether or not you type anything into the form. Google explains what they are for in its cookie documentation. If you would rather not have them, you can read the same information without the embed: the calendar and every form are also linked directly, and your browser's settings can block third-party cookies.
If you fill out a form
Opening the page loads the form from Google or Microsoft, as described above. Your answers are a separate thing: nothing is sent until you type them in and press submit. When you do:
- Your answers go to Google or Microsoft, whichever hosts that form.
- Chapter officers and our faculty advisor can see the responses.
- We use them to run the chapter: membership, event sign-ups, competition registration, and contacting you about those.
- We do not sell responses and we do not give them to advertisers.
If you want a response deleted, email jchsfbla@gmail.com, say which form it was, and we will remove it.
Payments
No payment is ever taken on this website. Payment links send you to Fulton County Schools' SchoolCash Online, which is the district's system and runs under the district's terms. We never see a card number.
Photos of members
We publish photos of chapter members at meetings, conferences and events. If you are in one, or you are the parent or guardian of a student in one, and you want it taken down, email jchsfbla@gmail.com. We will remove it. You do not have to explain why.
Links to other sites
We link to Georgia FBLA, FBLA, Instagram, Linktree, Snap! Raise, SchoolCash Online and various Google documents. Once you follow a link you are on their site, under their rules, and this policy stops applying.
Children
This site is meant for high school students, their families, and our community. Since we collect nothing directly from any visitor, we collect nothing from children either.
Changes to this page
If the site changes in a way that makes something here untrue, we update this page and the date at the top. Every edit this site has ever had, this page included, is public in our GitHub repository, so you can check what changed and when.
