Executive Council

President - Aanya Faraz

The President is responsible for managing the chapter as a whole, presiding over all meetings and creating the strategic plan for the chapter while closely working with officers, EVPs, and the advisers. The president provides leadership to the Executive Officer team and compels members to participate in FBLA competitive events such as National and State Projects.

Advisers

Commander Schenk

Commander Schenk is a retired U.S. Navy officer with a passion for mentoring students. He has been an invaluable resource for our chapter, providing guidance and support.

Coach Gray

Coach Gray is one of our advisers this year.

Katie Williams

Ms.Williams is also an adviser.

Georgia FBLA Officers

Region Officer - Yvie Gefen Vlassopoulos

The FBLA Region Officer acts as a regional leader and student ambassador, helping coordinate events and run the Region Leadership Conference (RLC). They lead interactive workshops at RLC and serve as a bridge between chapter members and state leaders, while encouraging participation in FBLA events.

Vice President Officers

Operations - Myra Sitafalwalla

The EVP of Operations manages all logistics, organization, and inventory for the chapter. They develop movement and deployment plans for all major conferences and events, and distribute registration materials such as name tags, ribbons, and agendas.

Finance - Shaanvi Poddar

The EVP of Finance is responsible for managing all chapter financial operations. They create and maintain the chapter budget, record and report all financial transactions, and work with all advisers and EVPs to align payments for membership, conferences, and other chapter activities.

Competitions - Alex Gentin

The EVP of Competitions oversees all competitive event operations and serves as the chapter’s expert on event categories, rules, and preparation. They educate members, manage testing logistics, and coordinate all aspects of competition at FLC, RLC, SLC, and NLC.

Membership - Zelda Arthur

The EVP of Membership leads all recruitment and retention efforts to maintain a top‐tier FBLA chapter. This role oversees membership campaigns, organizes social activities with incentives, and manages all communication related to membership for students and parents.

Marketing - Vicky Szczesny

The EVP of Marketing manages all chapter communications and public relations. The EVP and their team photograph all FBLA activities and post content on the chapter website and social media, coordinating with other EVPs to promote events such as field trips, conferences, and service projects through flyers, announcements, and digital media.

COTY/Secretary - Aditi Kothari

The EVP of Champion Chapter/Chapter of the Year (COTY) oversees all COTY and champion chapter activities, and submits documentation to Georgia FBLA throughout the school year. They collaborate with the officer team to assign responsibilities, track progress, and ensure all activities are completed and recorded.

Community Service - Moksh Somayajula

The EVP of Community Service oversees all chapter community service projects throughout the year while closely following the Monthly Service Challenges set by Georgia FBLA. They manage a point‐tracking system to record members’ service hours and progress, while encouraging participation, and recognizing members who demonstrate exceptional commitment.

Committee Officers focus on learning and adopting every aspect required of an Executive Officer. They train members, recruit new members, and drive the mission.
